Fees



Durrant Medical Clinic is a privately billing practice. Fees are determined by each doctor and by the complexity and time of the consultation. Fees are payable on the day.

We endeavour to keep our fees as affordable as possible. Consequently, we bulk bill children 15 years old and under Monday to Friday (fees apply for procedural appointments and from 5pm and Saturday).To further assist you with payment we are able to transmit your claim on the spot and you will receive the medicare rebate immediately leaving you out of pocket only the difference. Alternatively, provide your bank details to Medicare who will electronically rebate overnight.

TAC and WorkCover consultation fees differ from below and accounts are to be settled by the patient at the end of consultation. Patient claim their rebate directly with TAC and WorkCover.

Please note, credit card and EFTPOS surcharge applies on fees.

NEW PATIENTS

New patients require a 30 minutes appointment as the doctor needs time to get to know you, and your medical and family history.
We ask all new patients to bring along a list of all their current medications, photo ID and Medicare Card to their first visit.
All new patients are required to complete a new patient registration form PRIOR to their visit.

New Patient Fees:

$140.00 Monday - Friday before 5pm (additional $10 from 5pm)

$160.00 Saturday

TEST RESULTS

Allow for approximately 72 hours for test results to be available to your doctor. In the interest of good health and best practice, please book a review appointment to discuss results with your GP.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATES

Medical certificates for work or school are required on the day of your illness. Medical certificates cannot be organised over the phone or by email unless a consultation with the Doctor has already taken place.
