Request for Repeat Scripts or Referrals
You may request a repeat script or referral outside of a consultation by completing the online form above. This service is available for Durrant Medical Clinic patients only and where the original script or referral was provided by one of our GPs within the past 3 months.
                   
Please understand:
  1. Doctors require 48 hour notice to process a repeat prescription or referral request.
  2. If you require the script or referral sooner, please make an appointment to see one of our doctors via online booking or call 9592 5133. The fee for a repeat prescription or referral is $25.00. There are a number of clinical and administrative steps required for a repeat prescription/referral. The fee is in recognition of this and is not refundable or rebatable.
  3. A repeat prescription or referral request does not guarantee that a script or referral will be written for you.
  4. All requests are considered by your Doctor and a decision is then made as to whether this repeat request is appropriate for your health care needs.
  5. After consideration of your request one of our staff will contact you to advise:

    6. a. if YES - we are able to provide the repeat prescription or referral and you will be required to provide credit card details for payment

    b. If NO - we are unable to provide the repeat prescription or referral and organise an appointment for you.

  6. For prescriptions please include medication name, dose and strength and who last prescribed the medication.
  7. There are some delivery risks in using electronic mail with there being the risk of interception by third parties or non-receipt or delayed receipt of the message
  8. Computer viruses, and similar damaging items, can be transmitted through emails. Durrant Medical Clinic uses virus scanning software to reduce these risks and ask that you do the same. However, it is not possible to completely eliminate the risk of introducing viruses.
  9. By communicating electronically with Durrant Medical Clinic, I release the Practice from all claims, losses, expenses and liabilities caused by any of the risks referred to in 7 & 8 and arising directly or indirectly out of that communication.
TEST RESULTS

Allow for approximately 72 hours for test results to be available to your doctor. In the interest of good health and best practice, please book a review appointment to discuss results with your GP.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATES

Medical certificates for work or school are required on the day of your illness. Medical certificates cannot be organised over the phone or by email unless a consultation with the Doctor has already taken place.
